IIS URL Rewrite 2.0 Cookbook

This cookbook downloads and installs the IIS URL Rewrite 2.0 extension into
Microsoft Internet Information Server.

Requirements

Operating System:

• Windows 2008 or higher
• IIS 7 or 7.5. IIS 8 may be supported as well, though Microsoft's documentation does not call it out as being explicitly supported by the module.

Usage

Add recipe[iis_urlrewrite] to your node's run_list.

To-Do

• There are installable packages for multiple languages, which could be of interest to users. However, this cookbook currently only handles the English-language edition of the URL Rewrite extension.
