Supermarket Belongs to the Community

Supermarket belongs to the community. While Chef has the responsibility to keep it running and be stewards of its functionality, what it does and how it works is driven by the community. The chef/supermarket repository will continue to be where development of the Supermarket application takes place. Come be part of shaping the direction of Supermarket by opening issues and pull requests or by joining us on the Chef Mailing List.

Cookbook Version
Build Status
Code Climate
Coverage Status

A Chef cookbook for the reattach-to-user-namespace OS X utility.

Requirements

This cookbook requires an OS X node and depends on the homebrew community
cookbook.

Usage

Either add the included default recipe to your run list or implement the
custom resources in a recipe of your own.

Recipes

default

Performs an attribute-based installation of RtUN.

Attributes

default

The default behavior is to install via :homebrew, but this can be overridden
if you wish to install via :direct download and compile from GitHub:

default['reattach_to_user_namespace']['app']['source'] = nil

If desired, a specific version of RtUN can be installed rather than the latest:

default['reattach_to_user_namespace']['app']['version'] = nil

Resources

reattach_to_user_namespace_app

Manages installation of the RtUN utility.

Syntax:

reattach_to_user_namespace_app 'default' do
  source :homebrew
  version '1.2'
  action :install
end

Actions:

Action Description
:install Install the app
:upgrade Upgrade the app
:remove Remove the app

Properties:

Property Default Description
source :homebrew Install via :homebrew or :direct GitHub DL
version nil Install a specific version instead of the latest
action :install Action(s) to perform
