Supermarket Belongs to the Community

Supermarket belongs to the community. While Chef has the responsibility to keep it running and be stewards of its functionality, what it does and how it works is driven by the community. The chef/supermarket repository will continue to be where development of the Supermarket application takes place. Come be part of shaping the direction of Supermarket by opening issues and pull requests or by joining us on the Chef Mailing List.

sonos cookbook

Cookbook Version
Build Status
Dependency Status

Installs and configures an opinionated selection of sonos addons.

As a new sonos user I've found some functionality lacking. Community provides a few projects to fill the gaps, but they are neither easy to install without a ton of fiddling, nor well organised.

This is meant to be run on your chef-managed home server.

Currently provided are:
* airsonos
* node-sonos-web-controller

TODO

  • test on Debian / RHEL / rpi
  • take a closer look at chromecast-like solutions

Platform

Currently supported platforms:

  • Ubuntu 14.04

Usage

Include selected recipes in the runlist. There is nothign to tweak (yet?).

Recipes

sonos::airsonos

AirPlay to Sonos
* https://github.com/stephen/airsonos

sonos::webcontroller

* https://github.com/jishi/node-sonos-web-controller

sonos::default

Includes all other recipes.
